Tip: if you are intending to hire a car during your stay, we recommend hiring a small car as the nearby streets are quite narrow.

Superb place to stay

Size and layout of apartment, large living room, kitchen and household items more than sufficient. Everything in mint condition. Location close to old Town. Destination Algarve staff were super friendly and helpful as always.

Floor heating was off, and air condition heating struggled to keep the place warm in February. Parking is difficult, so we parked our car just outside city walls which was more convenient.

We are sorry to hear that it was difficult to keep the apartment warm - the weather this year has been exceptionally cold - unfortunately we were not aware during your stay that the underfloor heating was not switched on.

As the apartment is located so close to the centre of town, there are some narrow streets leading to the apartment. For this reason, we always recommend that - if guests want to hire a car - they hire a compact car that get through the streets quite easily.

The location of this apartment was perfect-walkable to everything! It was spotless, very well equipped, lots of space, and the views to the harbour/ocean were lovely. We were celebrating a birthday and were left a bottle of sparkling wine and chocolates as a lovely surprise. Staff were amazing! The gentleman who showed us around the place gave us great information and checked in on us during our stay. Really, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

Very sophisticated property in a superb location

Very lovely property - actually lives up to the photographs! Amazing views from all the windows in the lounge/kitchen. Very well kitted out - loads of kitchen equipment and an enormous fridge/freezer. The parking space is invaluable given the old town location (although squeezing into the allocated bay takes a bit of getting used to). Pool is not heated hence quite refreshing but we still managed to get into it!

The property entrance is located down a side alley that branches off of the main road. If you miss the alley, you have to drive around the old town one-way system for a few minutes before you can get back to the alley again! So maybe a simple diagram could be included with the welcome pack, for drivers, as having the address is not necessarily enough to guarantee you'll find the car park.
